This is a connector cap for modular jacks used in various devices such as telephones, fax machines, telephone exchange equipment, computers (PCs), modems, POS cash drawers, and many other electronic devices, available in 2-pole, 4-pole, and 6-pole configurations. It is suitable for dust protection, preventing contact failure, avoiding issues caused by incorrect cable insertion, and protecting the product. Since it does not have a knob for pulling out, it is also suitable as a simple security measure by covering maintenance port blank caps (for concealment) or unused ports to restrict free usage. (There is no locking mechanism.)
